Quick take
School review information
École Centennial Park is a welcoming, community-anchored school that serves as a vital hub in central Abbotsford. While its standardized test scores are average, it compensates with a rich cultural environment, valuable French Immersion programming, and exceptional on-site support services that cater to a diverse range of learner needs.
Editorial review summary
Parents and community members frequently praise the school's central location near Mill Lake and its inclusive, multicultural atmosphere. The 'Dual Track' nature (English and French Immersion) is a significant draw for many families. Reviews highlight strong parent involvement through the PAC and appreciation for the on-site District Team Centre, which provides access to speech pathologists and counselors. Some parents note that as an older facility (opened in 1968), the building shows its age, and families in the French Immersion program should plan for transportation logistics as they transition to middle school.
