Ratings and data
Academic information
North Surrey Secondary holds a Fraser Institute rating of 5.9/10, placing it at a provincial rank of 81 out of 252 secondary schools in British Columbia. Historically, its rating has fluctuated between 5.9 and 7.0 (6.5 → 6.4 → 5.9 → 7 → 5.9). This indicates an average to slightly above-average academic standing within the province. While the standardized test scores are middle-of-the-pack, the school compensates with a robust selection of comprehensive Science, Mathematics, and Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies (ADST) programs that provide practical, real-world skills not always captured by standardized testing.
