School review information
St. James & St. Ann's is a premier choice in the Fraser Valley, offering a rare combination of elite academic results and a nurturing, faith-based culture. It is more than just a school; it is a community hub that demands commitment from families but rewards them with a safe, high-achieving environment for their children.
Editorial review summary
Parents consistently praise the school for its warm, 'family-like' community and strong moral foundation. Reviews highlight the dedicated staff who know every student by name and the 'inclusive philosophy' of the sports teams. The Outdoor Kindergarten program is frequently mentioned as a unique and engaging start for young learners. However, some parents note that admission is competitive, particularly for non-parishioners, due to the strict priority sequence. The expectation of high behavioral standards and uniform compliance is generally viewed positively as creating a safe learning environment.

Who this school may fit
This school is ideally suited for Catholic families in Abbotsford who prioritize religious education alongside high academic standards. It is also a strong option for non-Catholic families seeking a disciplined, values-driven private education, provided they are willing to navigate the waitlist and tuition costs.
